Steering
The tried and tested steering system provides exceptional agility and manoeuvrability, which combined with excellent directional stability allow the driver to concentrate fully on the task of sweeping.
Runtime
Electra 5.0 life is equipped with different types of 48 x 2 Volt low-voltage battery packs designed specifically for the sweeper. The option to use different types of batteries allows the sweeper to be fully adapted to each client’s specific working requirements and available budget. The tried and tested technology used minimises the environmental footprint and offers high levels of recyclability, as well as high levels of safety thanks to the low voltage.
Charging and recovery
Electra 5.0 life is equipped with an on-board battery charger which allows the batteries to be charged at any public car charging point. Electra 5.0 life can be equipped with a wide variety of external single-phase and three-phase battery chargers with different voltages, power ratings and charging times to fully meet the requirements of different customers and markets. Electra 5.0 life is also equipped with a regenerative braking system which allows the device’s runtime to be further extended.
Sweeping
The Electra 5.0 life electric road sweeper is equipped with a suction waste collection system. Two independent counter-rotating brushes, positioned in front of the front steering axle, convey the waste towards the suction inlet, and an innovative air filtration system located between the waste hopper and the centrifugal fan, with performance improved by 20%, which allows the outlet air to be filtered, increasing the efficiency of the flow. During the work phase, the self-balancing nature of each component adapts to any road surface to ensure perfect operation at all times. What’s more, the innovative brushing system composed of independent brushes significantly increases the sweeping width, without affecting the machine’s dimensions. An optional third electric front brush provides further performance gains and offers greater productivity.
Waste hopper
The strong, waterproof 5 m³ waste hopper is made from AISI 304 stainless steel.

The ergonomic and soundproofed waterproof aluminium cab of theElectra 5.0 life sweeper offers a very high level of comfort to the operator along with a unique driving experience, thanks to the large windows.
